Peninim, which is prepared and edited by Rabbi A.L. Scheinbaum, originated as a community service project for the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland. Exploring Parshas Hashavua, weekly copies of Peninim were distributed throughout the entire community. Rabbi A.L. Scheinbaum selects Torah thoughts from a host of commentaries, ranging from the classic to contemporary. Peninim maintains an empahsis upon the centrality of Torah study and “middos”. The author’s incisive flair for integrating these ideas into everyday situations is evident rhgouhout this dynamic work. 15th in the series, issued in 2010, 381 pages.
