About the Author
HaRav HaGaon Rabbi Yehoshua Cohen was born and raised in Jerusalem. At an early age he mastered all of the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmuds and their major commentaries. At the age of sixteen he was tested by a number of the greatest geonim of our generation. They each presented him with a letter attesting to his deep and comprehensive knowledge of the Talmud. He received smichah (ordination) at the age of twenty- three from a number of leading halachic authorities.
Rabbi Cohen is internationally recognized as one of the world’s greatest experts in both the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmuds. Each year thousands of people from all over the world seek his scholarly advice on Gemara, Halachah, and how to achieve success in learning.
Rabbi Cohen has spoken and taught at many yeshivos in both Israel and the United States. In this capacity he developed his system for teaching how to deeply understand and remember one hundred pages of Gemara in a single zman.
